Armourgeddon

Armourgeddon Tanks is a military vehicle driving and paintballing centre based just south of Leicester. They decided that a promo video could really boost their sales after frequent requests for video material from experience day resellers. So, Armourgeddon got in touch, and we were happy help. We wanted to capture the thrill of the tank driving and paintballing games in the video, but we were working under some constraints. Armourgeddon had customers booked in for the foreseeable future, but didn′t want to wait too long for the video. This meant that we would be filming during normal working hours with customers on site. The last thing we wanted to do was disturb their games, so we were careful to stay out of the way while filming.

On the shoot we covered all aspects of the centre, from tank battles to military vehicle driving and paintball games. It was a long day wading through mud whilst trying to keep the camera gear safe, but it was very enjoyable! We used a small crew so that we could be inconspicuous, with one camera op and one sound recordist.

When we got back to the studio we began editing together the footage whilst at the same time working up some motion graphics sequences to get across the basic information about what Armourgeddon is, what′s on offer and how to get in touch. All this was brought together in the final edit to produce the complete video, and Tracy from Armourgeddon was very pleased with the end product. It is now being used on the front page of their website so that potential clients can instantly see what they will be getting at Armourgeddon.
